Compare and synchronize SQL Server tables and databases with DTM Data Comparer
DTM Data Comparer is an easy to use comparison and synchronization tool. It help DBA or database developer to compare or
even synchronize SQL Server databases in a visual manner. Also, it has console mode
for scheduled comparison and synchronization. The software supports both full and express editions of the SQL Server starting 2000 version.
The limited support for 6.5 and 7.0 versions is also provided.
The comparison software fetches SQL server tables basing on the order of ascending of primary key values.
The user can define alternate unique key. If the table has no rows with the same key value, the software places the records to different lines
and highlights data row by yellow background. Otherwise, i.e. values of the keys accord, the program places them to the same grid lines and highlights cells for equal fields by
green background and different fields by red background.
With DTM Data Comparer the user enabled to compare tables with different structure. The column mapping feature allows
he or she specify correspondence between source and target tables.
Moreover, the user can apply built-in SQL server functions like CAST to target value. This option provides data transformation for synchronization process.
