The Library Builder allows you to create your own Values Library
from a set of text files and directories.
Note: the Builder works with text files (with 'txt' extension or without extensions) only. The current Builder version supports
only two hierarchical levels.
To prepare sources for creating a library, you should perform the following steps:
- Create a root library directory. It can be any folder.
- Inside this folder, create subfolders for groups of values (optional, all files can be located right in
the root library directory)
- Place required files into the root directory and subfolders
- Specify the location of the root directory and the name of the library to be created (remember
that DTM Data Generator uses library.vlib as a default library name) and start the library generation
process (the "Build library" button).
Note: registered users have access to sources of the values library that supplied
with DTM Data Generator. LibrarySources.zip in the product directory contains this information.
How to install custom library? Just open settings window and switch to "general settings". This form contains
"Custom Values Library location" edit box. You should enter or select path and file name of your own
library and reload the program.
