The DTM Data Generator Runtime is a special version of the data generator. This version allows the user to run already created projects without any modifications except database connection and output files (SQL, text or XML) specification.

This version helps to save a lot of money for teams where a few members run data generation projects but never develop them. For example, one employee develops data generation projects and four run only. For the professional version cost is $249+ 4*$50 = $449 against $699 for five full licenses.

Also, the user should not renew support and upgrade subscription for the runtime while he or she has active one for full version. In our example that means that starting the second year subscription cost will be $90 per year only instead of $450 for five full licenses.

The runtime license of the data generator is compatible with Professional and Enterprise versions. You can't use it with Standard.
